If MFCommander is not right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to give a reason.
This applies to every paid edition — Pro and Infrastructure — bought directly from us or through our checkout.
MFCommander's 14-day trial unlocks every feature, including the Pro connectors and the Kubernetes and Docker browsers. No payment details are required. We would much rather you evaluated the Software properly than bought it and asked for your money back — so please use the trial.
This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights, and does not replace or restrict them. Where the consumer protection law that applies to you gives you a stronger or longer right to cancel, refund, repair, or replacement, that law wins and we will honor it.
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK: distance-selling law gives you a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. Digital content is a partial exception — when you ask for immediate delivery and acknowledge that doing so ends your withdrawal right, that right is extinguished on delivery. Because we deliver your license key immediately, you will normally be asked to give that acknowledgement at checkout.
We honor the 14 days anyway. Our refund window above is a voluntary commercial promise that stands regardless of any acknowledgement you gave at checkout, and regardless of whether you have already activated and used the Software.
Consumers in Australia, and anywhere else with non-excludable statutory guarantees, keep those guarantees in full — including remedies for software that is faulty or not as described, which are not limited by the 14-day window.
Email [email protected] from the address you bought with, or include your order number or license key. That is the whole process — there is no form and no approval queue.
We aim to acknowledge within one business day and to submit the refund within three.
Purchases are processed by Polar Software Inc., our Merchant of Record, so Polar issues the refund to your original payment method. Sales tax or VAT charged on your order is refunded with it.
Your bank or card issuer decides how quickly the credit appears — typically 5 to 10 business days.
When a refund is issued, the license is revoked. The next time MFCommander validates it, the application resolves to the Community edition.
You do not lose your work. Your saved connections, settings, tabs, paths, themes, and hotkeys are preserved, and your local files remain fully accessible. If you buy again later, activating the new key restores your edition immediately, and everything you had configured is still there.
Please stop using the paid features once your refund is issued.
We are not obliged to refund outside the window, but we would rather have a fair outcome than a rules-lawyered one. Get in touch if something has gone wrong — a duplicate purchase, the wrong edition, a charge you did not recognize, or a defect we could not fix. We will sort it out.
Two things to note, because they are common misunderstandings rather than refund situations:
If something looks wrong with a charge, please email us first — a refund is faster than a chargeback and does not put your license into a disputed state.
A chargeback revokes the license the same way a refund does. We will always provide the evidence a card issuer asks for, and we may decline future sales to an account with an unresolved dispute.
